We chose two hour tour and managed to cover many interesting places which we would not be able to cover on foot.
Segways are very easy to operate, after 5 minutes it becomes second nature and you can soak in the amazing views.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and drew our attention to details that we perhaps wouldn't notice. Highly recommend

However the legal age for segwaying has changed and there is a little confusion as to if the new minimum legal age is 14 or 16, either way we booked for ourselves and three kids of 15, 12 & 12. Since they were now too young our route was changed to keep under the radar. Bear that in mind if you are booking for under 16s, that being said - WE HAD A GREAT TIME

We popped in and booked the... read more tour a day before which was quick and easy and the lady who served us (sorry, we didn't get their names!) was helpful, and spoke English very well. We booked the shortest tour as we thought that'd be long enough but I would recommend the longer tours if you have the time. As we were first timers on a Segway the lady who took our tour met us around the corner and gave us some training. She was extremely patient and helpful and we soon got the hang of it.....it did take around 30 mins of our 1 hour session so bear that in mind when booking. The guide was patient, very helpful when crossing the roads etc and just altogether brilliant. We took in some sights and the Segways made it so much fun to get around. The 2 ladies that we dealt with were so helpful.....we had a problem with our bags that day as it was our last day and had to be out of our apartment and the ladies help us sort it all out with no drama at all and we can't thank them enough for everything. Good fun, excellent customer service and if we're in Barcelona again we'll be back there in a flash!

  As a surprise for my 2 nieces, I had booked this tour for them. They were delighted. It was their first time in a segway and many years since I... read more had been on one. They let you practice first and you become very comfortable very quickly with using it. We had a girl guiding us who has red hair. I am so sorry that I can't pronounce your name. She is very friendly and very easy to talk to. We all really enjoyed the tour. You get to see the column, the marina, the old walls of Barca, the Arc de Triomphe, Gaudi's fountain, the big Elephant, El Born. We have another day in Barca today to see the big attractions. I'm glad I got to see the ones listed above as, it is my third visit to Barca and had not seen many of the those sites. I suppose I would call it, less well known Barca. A top tip, in winter months, make sure you wear warm clothes and GLOVES!!!!

The Sun and... read more Segway is fun and you learn a lot about Barcelona that the formal guides leave out. After a 15 minute training tour in a small square you are zipping off around the streets and onto the waterfront and parks with guides who are not too pushy with usual platitudes but give personal insights into life in Barcelona and have a great sense of humour. They allow some freedom for going around the spaces, speak a number of languages and are great with kids. Our guide Pablo seemed to know half of the people in Barcelona and going through the big parks with him was a real treat. You can tailor the times to go but best to book early and if you have been on those big bus tours then some have discount coupons so make sure to keep those.

We managed to see all the major sights of Barcelona all within half a day which was great as we were able to use the rest of weekend that we had for other things.

Oscar was a great host, friendly and very attentive whilst making sure the tour was great fun. Would recommended strongly for anyone to take the Segway tour - never experienced anything like it before - you won’t regret it!

Barca feels safe zooming around. The girls really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Naxos was friendly and polite. We saw the column, marina, the old walls of the city, El Born, the arc de triomphe, Gaudi's fountain and the big elephant. The tour takes about 2hours and it gives you a basic understanding of the layout of the city. My advice is, wear something warm in Winter and DEFINITELY wear gloves as it becomes cold when you are standing in the same spot.

She was very knowledgable and accommodating, particularly as one of our party was feeling a little unwell. As it... read more was our family on the tour alone, she focussed the tour on what we wanted to see.
Also, we had some problems of our own with timings of the tour, but the tour organisers were extremely helpful in shifting our schedule in the few days before, to be able to fit us in.
