Our Segway Tour to the Catalan Modernism will begin from our office, located in Barcelona’s heart close to Las Ramblas.
After meeting your guide and learning how to drive the Segway, we’ll begin the route discovering the Columbus monument, the Port Vell and the Barcelona’s Face (the most expensive monument owned by the city at the end of the Olympic Games of 92’).
From there, we’ll take the direction of the Ciutadella Park and Arc de Triomf, projected and realized for the World’s Fair of 1888 organized by Barcelona.
Into the park, we’ll be able yet to see some of Gaudi’s Works when he was young.
And yes!; now, we’ll enter to l’Eixample, the most populated area of Barcelona, to go through the Passeig de Gràcia plenty of luxury shops where are located two important works of the Catalan architect; La Casa Batlló and La Casa Milà.
Here we’ll observe the Casa Batlló natural forms and the “trencadís” famous technique.
Not too far from Casa Batlló, we’ll discover La Casa Milà, where Antoni Gaudí left a jewel of the modernist architecture, known by Barcelona citizen people as “La Pedrera” because of its stone facade.
Finally, and of course no less important, we’ll show you the most international Gaudi’s work and icon of the city of Barcelona, the Expiatory Temple of La Sagrada Familia.
Emblem of Barcelona and of Catalonia, the Sagrada Familia is the last big dream of Antoni Gaudí.
