  Our pleasant experience from a Segway tour with Oscar.
We started with safety instructions and training on how to get used to the Segway and stay calm and safe... read more in any situation on the road. It was very simple and clear explained. We got stored our bags with souvenirs so one can come with belongings and keep it safe during the tour. Our guide took a very good care of us during the tour, backed up when needed and provided physical help and good mood, so no one could feel put aside as we all worked as a team. We made a lot of stop points to take pictures and hear about the history of the places we visited. We got raincoats and water during the trip. So no need to bring it with you in case of rain. It is a good exciting entertainment which saves you a couple of steps during the day as you skip going up the hills and miles by feet during that tour. Recommended!

The Sun and... read more Segway is fun and you learn a lot about Barcelona that the formal guides leave out. After a 15 minute training tour in a small square you are zipping off around the streets and onto the waterfront and parks with guides who are not too pushy with usual platitudes but give personal insights into life in Barcelona and have a great sense of humour. They allow some freedom for going around the spaces, speak a number of languages and are great with kids. Our guide Pablo seemed to know half of the people in Barcelona and going through the big parks with him was a real treat. You can tailor the times to go but best to book early and if you have been on those big bus tours then some have discount coupons so make sure to keep those.

However the legal age for segwaying has changed and there is a little confusion as to if the new minimum legal age is 14 or 16, either way we booked for ourselves and three kids of 15, 12 & 12. Since they were now too young our route was changed to keep under the radar. Bear that in mind if you are booking for under 16s, that being said - WE HAD A GREAT TIME

We managed to see all the major sights of Barcelona all within half a day which was great as we were able to use the rest of weekend that we had for other things.

Oscar was a great host, friendly and very attentive whilst making sure the tour was great fun. Would recommended strongly for anyone to take the Segway tour - never experienced anything like it before - you won’t regret it!
