Two of our group were proficient riders whilst 2 were a little unsure Our guide was extremely patient and helped them in the riding skills. By the end of the tour everyone was confident in their abilities.
Arnault our guide, also gave an informative tour of the park.

This tour is bookable using the Go City pass, we arranged it via email directly with the Segway company and the communication was swift.

We’d definitely do a Segway tour again.

  Great experience of seing Barcelona in a 3 hours tour. You can even choose the itinerary if you are part of a smaller group.

  Both Barcelona Sun & Segway and Akram (our guide) made our too-short visit to Barcelona great.

I wrote to them the same morning that our cruise ship was... read more arriving in town. They responded immediately with availability and times. The times would not work for our schedule, so they were willing to create a time slot for us that worked... what great flexibility! The directions they sent were perfect - including a photo of the meeting point. When we showed the taxi driver the photo, he knew where it was and took us right there.

They met us right on time. Since it was off-schedule, we wound up with a private tour. We told Akram what we wanted to see, and he was super-willing to rearrange our itinerary to take us where we wanted to go.

We probably visited 10-12 different sites during the re-arranged tour. Akram was very knowledgeable about what we were looking at, andd was able to explain what we were seeing and why it was interesting in clear, easy-to-understand English. We never felt rushed, even when we randomly stopped to take pictures, despite his concern with basically, making up the tour route as we rode.

We didn't see more than a small bit of the cool stuff in Barcelona - when I return, I will use Barcelona Sun & Segway to check some more sites off my list. Both their customer service and the tour itself deserves 11 points on a scale of 10 :)

NOTE: My friend had never segway-ed before; I had a couple of times under my belt. Akram took the time to get us both up to speed. It's really easy (after the first 5 terrifying minutes). Once you're used to driving the Segway, it is second nature. And Barcelona has a lot of bicycle lanes, so we were able to zip through traffic.

We are super glad we showed up, because it was a fun and enjoyable ride through the park and all around the local area. Its easy to ride and the guide we had was extremely nice and helpful.   It was my nieces' first time using a Segway. I had used one years ago. It didn't take long to become very comfortable using the Segway and, with your guide,... read more you feel very safe. Barca feels safe zooming around. The girls really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Naxos was friendly and polite. We saw the column, marina, the old walls of the city, El Born, the arc de triomphe, Gaudi's fountain and the big elephant. The tour takes about 2hours and it gives you a basic understanding of the layout of the city. My advice is, wear something warm in Winter and DEFINITELY wear gloves as it becomes cold when you are standing in the same spot.
PS I thought I had left this review before so if you see a second review that is similar to this, you will know why!

He has been extremely helpful taking time at the end to recommend bars and restaurants for the remainder of our trip which we appreciated a lot!

I would definitely recommend to anybody thinking of doing this, particularly if you have not been on a Segway before, great way to explore the city!

Segways are very easy to operate, after 5 minutes it becomes second nature and you can soak in the amazing views.
