Step into the visionary world of Antoni Gaudí, Barcelona’s most celebrated architect and the genius of Catalan Modernism. The Gaudí Masterpieces Tour is an elegant journey through the city that bears his unmistakable imprint—from the organic curves of Casa Batlló to the stone grandeur of Casa Milà, and the soaring towers of the Sagrada Família.
Gliding effortlessly through Barcelona on a Segway, you’ll explore Gaudí’s architectural language, where nature, imagination, and spirituality converge. Guided by our experts, this tour is both a cultural immersion and a refined way to experience the very essence of Barcelona: Gaudí is Barcelona, and Barcelona is Gaudí.
Embark on a 2.5-hour Segway journey dedicated to the genius of Antoni Gaudí and discover the essence of Barcelona’s Modernisme. After a short orientation, the tour begins in the heart of the city, gliding through the Gothic Quarter and the Born district. These historic neighborhoods, with their Roman ruins and the stunning Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, offer the perfect introduction to Barcelona’s layered past.
From there, you’ll roll into the lush Ciutadella Park, the city’s green oasis, where you’ll see the Parliament of Catalonia and the Castell dels Tres Dragons, one of Gaudí’s very first architectural contributions. Crossing the grand Arc de Triomf, built as the entrance to the 1888 Universal Exhibition, the route leads you into the Eixample, Barcelona’s modernist showcase. Along the way, you’ll encounter not only Gaudí’s masterpieces but also other architectural gems such as Casa Amatller, Casa Calvet and Casa de les Punxes.
Gliding down Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona’s most elegant avenue, you’ll be amazed by the whimsical shapes, vibrant colors and fantastical details of Casa Batlló, before admiring Casa Milà, better known as “La Pedrera”. Built in 1906, this striking building marked the edge of the city when Gràcia was still an independent village.
The highlight of the experience is, of course, the Sagrada Familia. Construction of this awe-inspiring basilica began in 1882 and continues today, making it not only Barcelona’s most visited monument but also a living symbol of Gaudí’s vision and genius.
On the way back to the starting point, the tour passes by La Monumental, the former bullring that once hosted major events until bullfighting was banned in Catalonia in 2012.
More than just a sightseeing tour, this Gaudí Segway Tour is an immersive journey through Barcelona’s history, culture and artistic spirit, combining its ancient streets with its most iconic modernist landmarks.
