Your adventure begins along the waterfront to explore Port Vell and Moll de la Fusta, before riding inland to the Parc de la Ciutadella, Barcelona ‘s “green lung.” Designed by Josep Fontserè i Mestre and inspired by the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, this park is home to the Parliament of Catalonia, a large lake, and countless plant species, making it one of the city’s most beloved spaces.
Continue past the majestic Arc de Triomf, the gateway to the 1888 Universal Exhibition, and glide into the Eixample district, Barcelona’s modernist showcase. Here, you’ll encounter the crown jewel of Catalan architecture: the Sagrada Familia. Take time to admire Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece, its intricate facades, and the hidden symbolism carved into its walls.
The tour then takes you to Barcelona’s coastline, where you’ll discover the famous city beaches and learn how the seafront was transformed during key moments in history, particularly the 1992 Olympic Games.
